what is the difference between caste and community?

You have several ingridients, you have a recipie. You make a dish out of that. The dish is the society and the ingridients used to make that dish, are the different castes of people. The deliciousness of the dish depends upon the recipie , similarily the greatness of the society depends upon the religion it follows. If a particular sect of people seem great, noble,  cherishable, the credit goes to the religion and its caste system. At the same time if a sect pf people seem inhumane, proud, barbaric and insane, the credit here also goes to the religion.

The importance of casye system is that "not all are same", hence a particular kind of people are kept in a particular caste, and just like sugar doesnt go with salt, one caste should be kept away from other.
