Answer:

  • Cell wall:---A cell wall is a structural layer surrounding some types of cells, just outside the cell membrane. It can be tough, flexible, and sometimes rigid. It provides the cell with both structural support and protection, and also acts as a filtering mechanism.
  • Cell membrane:----The cell membrane (also known as the plasma membrane (PM) or cytoplasmic membrane, and historically referred to as the plasmalemma) is a biological membrane that separates the interior of all cells from the outside environment (the extracellular space) which protects the cell from its environment.

hope it's helpful

Heya here is Ur answer

CELL MEMBRANE : Cell membrane is the outer covering of a cell which helps the cell from not getting contact with the outer substances. It basically divides the cell and other outer substances. It is found in both plant and animal cells.

CELL WALL : Cell wall is only found in plant cell. It an extra covering other than the cell membrane. Only plant cells have cell walls because it doesn't have a skeleton structure to help it stand erect as the animals have. So basically cell walls help them to have a stable structure.

Hope this helps....
