what is the difference between chasmogamous flowers and cleistogamous flowers?

The difference between chasmogamouse flower and cleistogamous flower are given below

- Chasmogamouse flowers are open and their stigmas and anthers are exposed whereas cleistogamous have closed flowers with unexposed stigmas.

- The flowers may undergo self and cross pollination in the former one whereas only sle pollination takes place in cleistogamous flowers.

- The former requires an external pollinators whereas the latter don’t

- In chasmogamous, the leaves are prominent and distinguishable whereas they are not in cleistogamous
