Answer:

For something to be 'circular motion,' it just has to move in a circle. For example, a toy train on a circular track has circular motion.

For something to have 'rotational motion,' it has to actually have something that it's rotating around (called an axis).

Answer:

Circular motion is confined to 1 plane with 1 centre of axis. It's a 2D motion

Rotational motion has an axis of rotation( line joining all centres) that is perpendicular to the motion of the system or object. It's a 3D type of motion.

Hope ite helps!!
