Substances that burn easily or catch fire easily are calledcombustible substances. Paper, clothes, wood, LPG are allcombustible substances. Without these substances, a fire cannot be started. A non combustible substance is that which is not capable of igniting and burning.

Eg- wood, coal, charcoal, kerosene, petrol, diesel, liquified petroleum gas (LPG), compressed natural gas (CNG) etc.
➡️The substances in which no combustion takes place are called non-combustible substances.
Eg- Substances like stone, glass, iron nails, etc. do not burn on being exposed to flame. Such substances are called non-combustible substances.
