Non -combustible substances are substances that do not burn in air and produce heat and light. Example : Glass, rock.

Difference between combustible and non-combustible substances are:-

Combustible substances- i) Substances that catch fire easily in the presence of oxygen are called combustible substances.

ii) For example, wood, paper, coal, coke, hydrogen, liquified petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas, petrol, kerosene, diesel and alcohol.

Non-Combustible substances- i) Substances which do not burn or catch fire easily in the presence of oxygen are called non-combustible substances.

ii) For example, sand, rock, water and glass.
