What is the difference between "complete" and "finish"?

There 2 words have very close meaning & subtle difference.

"Finish" refers to something comes to an end e.g. a sequence of tasks being executed until the last task, a person's life journey comes to an end, moving from starting point to end point etc.

Think "complete" have 2 meanings.  One is similar to "finish" whereby e.g. a sequence of tasks being completed.  Another meaning of "complete" is perfect or integrated as one e.g. a jig saw puzzle is only complete when all the pieces joined up together, all the components needed to assemble a computer were received and being put up together etc.

the 2 words are synonyms to each other ,,

but we use in different sentences ...

When you marry the right woman, you are complete. But, when you marry the wrong woman, you are finished. If the right one catches you with the wrong one, you are completely finished.
