What is the difference between CONVEX and CONCAVE lens???

The lens which is thicker at the middle and thinner at yhe edges are called convex lens and it is also known as diverging lens.And the lens which is thinner at the middle and thicker at the edges is called concave lens and it is also known as diverging lens.
