What is the difference between cytotaxonomy and chemotaxonomy?

cytotaxonomy refers to classification of biological materials based upon similarities and differences of cellularand number of chromosomes present in the cell afterwards while chemotaxomnomy refers to the classification of biological materials based upon similarities and differences of the biochemical compounds present in the cell

Cytotaxonomy
It is the taxonomy which is based on cytological information like chromosome number, structure and behaviour…etc.

Chemotaxonomy
It is the taxonomy which is based on chemical constituents. For example DNA sequence, chemical nature proteins…etc.
