As almost all believe that data and information are interchangeable and mean the same thing.
But, actually these are different from each other. The difference is as follow:
Data can be any text, number,word, character ,and if not put into context, means little or nothing to a man.
But, information is data formatted in a manner that allows it to be utilised by human beings in some significant way.
A computer is a good example of this.
