In displacement reaction, one element from its salt isdisplaced by a more reactive element e.g. in followingexample, Cu is displaced by Zn from CuSO4 because Zn is more reactive. In double displacement reaction, exchange ofions takes place between two reactants to form new products.

☺ Hello mate__ ❤

◾◾here is your answer...

✒DEFINITION OF DISPLACEMENT REACTION::--

In a displacement reaction, a more reactive element replaces a less reactive element from a compound.

i.e. A + BX. -----> AX + B

where A is more reactive than B

Example :-

CuSO4 + Zn --> ZnSO4 + Cu

✒DEFINITION OF DISPLACEMENT REACTION::--

In a double displacement reaction, two atoms or a group of atoms change places to form new compounds.

i.e. AB + CD ---> AC + BD

Example:--

Na2SO4 + BaCl ---> NaSO4 + 2NaCl

I hope, this will help you.
