DISPLACEMENT REACTION :
A REACTION IN WHICH A MORE REACTIVE ELEMENT DISPLACE A LESS REACTIVE ELEMENT .
FOR EXAMPLE :
Zn +CuSO^4 ====== ZnSO^4 + Cu
HERE'S ZINC IS MORE REACTIVE THEN COPPER . ACCORDING TO THE REACTIVITY SERIES. SO IT DISPLACE COPPER FROM COPPER SULPHATE SOLUTION

DOUBLE DISPLACEMENT REACTION :
IT IS A REACTION IN WHICH THEIR IS AN
EXCHANGE OF IONS BETWEEN THE REACTANTS.
FOR EXAMPLE :
BaCl^2 + K^2SO^4 ====== BaSO^4 + 2KCl

Displacement rection is a reaction in which a highly reactive metal displacs less ractive metal

Ex.CuSo4 + Zn = ZnSo4 + Cu

Double displacement reaction is a reaction two compounds react by the mutual exchange of ions

Ex.AgNo3 + NaCl = AgCl + NaNo3

Hope this would help you :-)
