Dry deciduous- these forests are found in areas having a mean annual temp. of 23°C to 27°C, annual rainfall between 70cm to 100cm and humidity between 51 to 58%.

Moist deciduous- Such forest are found in areas with moderate and low rainfall of 100cm to 200cm and the mean annual temp. of 24°C and 27°C and humidity % of 50 to 80.
