Heya!!,

it can be done with any method but the answer remains same
i m doing with SUBSTITUTION method

By substitution method
x-y=3=> x=y+3
x/3+y/2=6
Substituting in (x/3+y/2=6)
=>(y+3)/3+y/2=6
=>(2y+6+3y)/6=6
=>2y+6+3y=36
=>5y=30
=>y=5

Substituting (y= 5)in x-y=3
we get x=8

ANS:- x=8,,,,,y=5

THANK YOU

hope this helps!!!!

Solution:

 \frac{x}{3}  +  \frac{y}{2}  = 6 \\  \frac{2x + 3y}{6}  = 6 \\ 2x + 3y = 6 \times 6 \\ 2x + 3y = 36⟹⓵ \\  \\ (x - y = 3) \times 2 \\ 2x - 2y = 6⟹⓶ \\  \\ 2x + 3y = 36 \\ 2x - 2y = 6 \\ ( - ) \:  \: ( - ) \:  \: ( - ) \\  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  \\ 5y = 30 \\ y =  \frac{30}{5}  \\  \boxed{ \large y =  \underline{ \underline{ 6}}} \\  \\ 2x + 3y = 36 \\ 2x + 3(6) = 36 \\ 2x + 18 = 36 \\ 2x = 36 - 18 \\ 2x = 18 \\ x =  \frac{18}{2}  \\ \boxed{ \large x = \underline{ \underline{ 9}}}
