what is the difference between electrolyte and non electrolyte

In electrolyte, the solution breaks into free +ve and -ve ions but in a non-electrolyte, the solution doesn't provide ions, it means that the solution doesn't contain ions. Ex. of non electrolyte- distilled water, alcohol, carbon disulphide, carbon tetrachloride etc.

Electrolytes ionize almost completely in solution and therefore, their solutions conduct electricity.

nonelectrolyte do not ionize in the solution and therefore their solutions do not conduct electricity.
