What is the difference between electromotive force and potential difference? Explain it well please! And also explain how potential difference = the magnitude of a battery?

The EMF is measured between the end point of the source, when no current flow through it whereas, the voltage is measured between any two points of the closed circuit.

The EMF is generated by the electrochemical cell, dynamo, photodiodes, etc., whereas the voltage is caused by the electric and magnetic field.

The EMF is equal to the work done on the charge per unit charge , when there is no current flowing.

The unit for emf is the volt

The Voltage is equal to product of Current and Resistance

It's unit is volt
