What is the difference between encryption and decryption softwares?

encryption - encryption is a process by which converts readable data into encoded data.
decryption- decryption is a process by which converts encoded data into readable data.

encryption -Cipher us the general way for encryption.
-used to protect confidential information of users like personal documents, pictures, online transaction.
-Encryption, there are 3 widely used methods, Hashing, Symmetric & Asymmetric methods. 
decryption- decryption is the reverse of encryption.
- decryption allows the unreadable text to convert into readable text.
-system fetch and converts the scrambled encrypted data and transforms into texts and images which can be understand by everyone.

Conversion of plaintext into ciphertext.

decryption:Conversion of an unintelligible message into a comprehensible form which could be easily understood by a human.Receiver's end.

Conversion of ciphertext into plaintext.
