Epithelium: It is one of the four types of tissues , others being connective tissue , muscular tissue and nervous tissue. It generally is the covering of every organ like the epithelium of the trachea is pseudo stratified columnar ciliated epithelium that if urinary bladder is transitional epithelium.

Epidermis: It is the outer covering of the body of the skin. The skin has layers of epidermis , dermis etc. and epidermis further has 4 or 5 layers depending on its location if we are talking about the palm it has 5 layers and the epithelium covering it is stratified squamous keratinised epithelium.

hope it helps !!
