What is the difference between 'Filter' and 'Query' in MS-Access?

A query extract selected data from a table or another queries and present it in spreadsheet form whereas filter also acts like queries they allows you to select data nad view data records quickly.A filter is little bit differ from queries as entire records are reviewed not justifieds,multiple tables cannot accesed in a filter,calculations cannot be performed in a filter.
