What is the difference between frequency of light and intensity of light?

Frequency of light = the number of times in a second the light wave (electric field in it) oscillates to and fro in one second.   Units are : Hz

Intensity of light = power in light rays falling on a unit surface area.  Power is energy / sec.   Units are :   J /sec /m^2

Intensity is directly proportional to the square of the frequency.
