Difference between Galvanometer and ammeter and voltmeter is :-
Galvanometer:-
Instrument use for detecting the strength and direction of small current presence in a circuit.
Ammeter :-
Instrument used for determining the magnitude of current presence in the electrical circuit
Voltmeter :-
A voltmeter, also known as a voltage meter, is an instrument used for measuring the potential difference, or voltage, between two points in an electrical or electronic circuit. Some voltmeters are intended for use in direct current (DC) circuits; others are designed for alternating current (AC) circuits. Specialized voltmeters can measure radio frequency (RF) voltage.

galvonometer is the device which give response on electric current where voltmeter gives response to potential difference

galvonometer can be used for measurement of potential difference if the resistance of coil is known to us..... a galvonometer is a kind of antique instrument designed to measure weak currents.
