A gorge is a narrow valley with steep rocky walls. It is located between hills or mountains. It is smaller than a canyon.

A canyon is the larger version of a gorge. It is mor narrow and steep and generally has a stream or river flowing at the bottom. One of the most famous canyons is the Grand Canyon, located in North America.

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
