Gram negative bacteria :

1.No stain is retained after being washed with alcohol.

2.Cell wall is bilayered.

3 . It's wall is wavy like.

4.Basal body of the flagellum contains 4 rings.

5 . The mesosomes are less prominent.

6.Peptidoglycan layer is 8 to 12 nm thick.
