Haploid cells have single copy of each chromosomes but diploid cells have two copies of each chromosomes.

Hi..
Haploid is when cell has half the number of actual chromosomes..
In male and female gametes there r only 23 chromosomes i.e haploid (n) condition..
Diploid is when the cell has 2n chromosomes i.e 23×2=46 chromosomes ...
All the somatic cells in our body has 46 chromosomes ..
