hypermetropia is the defect on which a person can see faraway objects clearly but cannot see nearby objects distinctly. it also known as far sightedness . the light rays converge at a point behind the retina . it can be corrected by using a convex lens
presbyopia.:- due gradual weakening of ciliary muscles the power of accommodation of the eye start decreasing. the near point gradually receed away . such a person may find it difficult to see both nearby and faraway objects clearly it is corrected by using a bifocal lens
hope this helps!!
