What is the difference between infectious and non-infectious diseases? Give an example of each.

infectious disease means if we eat some poisoned food we will get infected by bacteria which causes food poisoning. Non infectious disease means not getting any disease

infectious disease:
it is caused by pathogens
transmission occurs through contact or through some medium such as air water
examples: cholera, malaria
non infectious disease:
it is not caused by pathogens
transmission from parents to offsprings if it's a hereditary disease
example: diabetes
