What is the difference between inspiratory reserve volume (IRV) and inspiratory capacity (IC).Are they same?

Inspiratory Reserve Volume (IRV): Total lung capacity minus the volume of air in the lung at the end of a normal inspiration. ... Inspiratory Capacity (IC): Sum of the tidal volume plus the inspiratory reserve volume (TV + IRV).

Tidal volume is the lung volume representing the normal volume of air displaced between normal inhalation and exhalation when extra effort is not applied.
