ISRO stands for Indian space research organisation which is Indian agency for space related missions.
NASA stands for National aeronautics and space administration which is an American agency for research in space and aeronautics.
NASA was established in 1958.
ISRO was established in 1969.
NASA has been a guiding institution to the world with their extraordinary efforts and their researches. It is the most rated Space agency of the world.
Some of its achievements are:-
1. Apollo 11 - This was the first spaceflight to the moon. It landed first two humans on moon.
The two were Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin
This was accomplished on July 20, 1969.
2. Hubble space telescope - This telescope was launched in lower orbit of earth in 1990.
It is one of the biggest telescope and has been vital in space research since it's inception.
3. International space station - It is also launched in lower orbit by NASA, Roscosmos, JAXA, ESA and CSA.
It has allowed researchers and astronauts to spend time in space and study about space and to do different experiments.

1. Mars orbiter mission (MOM) - It was the mission to the Mars by ISRO. This was historical mission which made ISRO popular in entire world.

Indian became the first nation to reach Mars in first attempt.
ISRO had no experience of interplanetary missions before. This mission was made more extraordinary by the fact that it is way cheaper than other three projects to the Mars sent by USA, Russia and European Union.
2. Launching 104 satellites together - One of the biggest ISRO achievements was to send 104 satellites from single rocket from sriharikota space port.
The satellites were not only Indian but from US, UK and Germany too.
3. Chandrayaan - This was India' s first space mission to moon in 2008. It is used to study topography of moon.
