LCM is the lowest common factor of any no.
HCF is the highest common factor of any no.

This is only difference between HCF and LCM.

Difference between HCF and LCM is quite clear from their full forms.

HCF - HIGHEST COMMON FACTOR
LCM - LEAST COMMON MULTIPLE

Factors are the numbers from which that no. is divided.

for example - Factor of 8 is 2 and 4 as 8 can be divided by 4 and 2.

Multiple is the no.s which comes by multiplying that no. by any number.

for example - Multiple of 2 is 4,8,12,96 etc.

So highest common factor between two no.s is their HCF.

And least common multiple between two no.s is their LCM.
