What is the difference between linear pair and supplementary angles?Example.

Linear pair is a pair of two supplementary angles. But two supplementary angles might or might not form a linear pair, they just have to "supplement" each other, that is their sum should be 180o

linear pair are said to be those angles that are adjacent to each other.

supplementary angles are said to be those angles whose sum is 180°.
