Market activities refers to the economic activity, which includes the production and consumption of goods
Non-market activities include things which are not economic, and comprises of exchange system.
These are performed for pay or profit.
These are performed for self consumption.
For ex : Teacher teaching in a school , man working in bank etc.
For ex : Subsistence farming , processing of primary products etc.
