What is the difference between mass and weight???

hi there,
mass is the amount of matter in a body.it is a scalar quantity .
weight is mass*gravity.it is the force exerted by the planet on the object.it is a vector quantity.

the difference between mass and weight is mass : the amount of matter of the object is know as mass of that particular body.

weight : the amount force exerted on the object by gravitational force on the object is know as weight of particular body.
