Mass is the actual amount of material contained in a body
And weight is the gravitational force exerted on our mass.
Mass will be same on earth and mars but weight will not be samne because weight depends on the gravitational force of a planet and gravitational force on mars is less then earth..... I hope you find it useful

mass is constant whereas weight is the force acting on body. Mass will be same on both earth and mars but weight changes with the value of acceleration due to gravity which varies on mars from earth. U can calculate weight by formula W = m*g
g on earth = 9.8 m/s^2
SI unit of weight = Newton (N)
g on earth = 9.8 m/s^2
SI unit of weight = Newton (N)
