Mass is the volume of an object multiplied with density but weight is a force
Dimensions of mass = KG
Dimensions of weight = Newton = KgM/sec
Weight is mass x gravity

mass means total matter contained in a body where as weight force of gravity working on a body mass of the object will be same but the weight will not be same because gravity in mars is different than it is in earth.
