THE DIFFERENCES ARE AS FOLLOWS
MELTING POINT:
- gradual change of state from solid to liquid by absorbing heat from surrounding .
- heat is required to supply for external source for such change of state.
- internal energy of the substance also increase for melting.
FREEZING POINT:
- gradual change of state from liquid to solid by leaving heat to surrounding.
- heat is required to take away from the substance for this change of state.
- internal enrgy of the substance decreases in case of freezing .
HOPE THIS WILL HELP!
