Moment of force => it is the product of force and perpendicular distance. The moment is a turning effect of force.
generally
The moment of force is about a fixed reference point.
Force =>any push or pull

Moments of force is the measure of turning effects of a force about a point. A couple consist of two equal and opposite force acting with two different but parallel lines of action. Each force has its own moment.
Moment of force depend on the distance from the pivot and the magnitude of the force while the moment of the couple is the net effect of the two moment of the forces. Moment of couple is independent of the locations of the point considered. It is constant throughout the plane.
