GPP OF AN ECOSYSTEM  IS THE RATE OF PRODUCTION OF ORGANIC MATTER DURING PHOTOSYNTHESIS.IT IS UTILISED BY PLANTS.

NPP IS THE AVAILABLE BIOMASS FOR THE CONSUMPTION TO HETEROTROPHS .IT IS ALSO CALLED AS SECONDARY PRODUCTIVITY.
