What is the difference between newsgroup and e group?

The main difference between newsgroup and this group group are as follows :

Newsgroup area refers to the online area in which the user discusses about a specific topic. To participate in the discussion, the user sends a message to the newsgroup and other users of that newsgroup receive and reply to the message. Participation in the newsgroup discussion requires the user to enter some form of identification, in the form of a username and password. The newsgroup is set for a particular region. Persons belonging to the same field participate in it.

e-group refers to the management website where the e-mails which are sent to the customers are managed. Apart from this, e-mail lists are managed in it. The email group's site allows users to store all of their people on their servers and other members can subscribe to.
