Four points of differences between South West Monsoon (SWM) and North East Monsoon (NEM) are -
1. SWM winds blow from south west.
NEM winds blow from north east
2. SWM winds are on shore winds
NEM winds are off shore winds
3. SWM is marked by heavy rainfall, high temperature, high humidity
NEM is marked by clear skies, pleasant weather, low temperature, low humidity.
4. SWM covers almost whole India.
NEM does not bring rainfall.
