Combination is basically the number of different ways by which a selection can be made while permutation also includes the arrangements of these selection.
For example if we have to select two numbers from the given three numbers 1,2 & 3 . The number of ways to do this is 3 . This is a combination. Here the order doesn't matter. But if we consider the order also , each case will have two ways .And the total number of ways will be 6.
