What is the difference between plane angle and solid angle

Plane angles are drawn or found on palne surface,where as solid angles are drawn or found on solid 3D materials.

Plane angles are called 'radian'.

And solid angles are called 'steradian'.

Palne angles = Arc/radius ,where as

Solid angles = S.A/radius^2

plane angle is a 2 dimensional figure whereas solid angle is a 3 dimensional figure


solid angle is the angle surrounding by a plane area at a particular point and that point to be centre of a big sphere in which a section will be plane whereas
plane angle is angle surrounded by a line at a particular point for whole of its length
