What is the difference between plane mirror and white colour as they both reflect all colours back

Answer:

A white surface is not so smooth and hence light falling on it is reflected on diffused form. Whereas in mirror, it is a polished surface, that's why the light follows The Law of Reflection and it forms perfect images.

When light falls on a mirror, the direction of light changes. This change in direction of light is called reflection. The angle of reflection depends upon the angle of incidence of the light beam upon the surface of the mirror. The reflection also depends upon the type of the mirror (concave, convex or plane).
