Theirs is a vast difference in population after independence and before we all know about that and at their time population was small and density per area also were small and large space of resources were available so planning was efficient and easy also before independence and some difficulties like in technologies we had resources but had not technology now a days have technology and have aware and scarcity of resources so this is wide difference before and after independence after independence India have Chandigarh and following Gandhinagar are largely planned cities and now a days every cities have planned so they can shape in manner but before independence they were not planned each city so developed in haphazard manner but they used material and resources and workmanship was incredible
