● Plants cells have an outer tough membrane called cell wall which is absent in animal cells.

● Animals cells have centrosome which is absent in plant cells.

● Plants cells have plastids (chloroplast, chromoplast and leucoplast) which are absent in animal cells.

● The vacuoles in plant cells join to form a single large vacuole but in animal cells they remain in undivided state.

● In animal cells the number of vacuoles is large whereas in plant cells they are few.
