If I say it in general
one play for himself / herself when they want to achieve something for yourself by competiting with different person but with our choices and can make a little bit changes within the competition or anything.
But, if we work in a team then we must have a corporative nature and learn teamwork at utmost precision as if one's fail in being good at teamwork or corporation then he or she fails from playing together in a team that consists of other players as well. And most significantly if one is playing in a team then he or she must notice and corporate in every highs and lows so that his or her team can win
