» This question is related to democracy and one of it's most important features, that's, a democracy is based on free and fair elections. But, China misused this one of the most important feature of the democracy, let me tell you how!!

» China used to conduct elections every five years for electing the country's parliament. This parliament was known as National People's Congress (Quanguo Renmin Daibiao Dahui).

» Only people, who were the member of Chinese communist Party, were allowed to contest elections, others had to take the approval of the Chinese Communist Party.

» As a result, the government was always made by the Chinese Communist Party in China.

» So, this cannot surely be called a democracy, as a democracy is based on free and fair elections.
