What is the difference between polar and non polar compounds?

Nonpolar covalent bonds are a type of chemical bond where two atoms share a pair of electrons with each other. Polar covalent bonding is a type of chemical bond where a pair of electrons is unequally shared between two atoms.

Polar compounds are those whose elements has some electronegative difference so partial +Ve charge occupied by less electronegative element and -ve charge by more electronegative like NaCl, HCl..................whereas Non-polar compounds elements are not different in electronegativity.....they are identical like H2, N2.etc.....
