If you are talking about rational and irritational numbers. Then I can answer it.

Rational numbers : The numbers that can be written in the form of a fraction p/q where q ≠ 0. These are terminating or non terminating repeating decimal expansions.
Examples: 1) 1.5 = 3/2
2) 0.33333...... = 1/3
3) 7 = 7/1

Irrational numbers : The numbers that cannot be written in the form of p/q. These are non terminating and non repeating decimal expansions.

Examples : 1) π
2) √2
3)√5

Hope it is clear enough to understand and helpful.... ^_^
