what is the difference between real and virtual image ?

A real image is formed when real rays meet after refraction or reflection .
virtual image is formed by rays which appears to meet but actually they r not meeting

1.A real image is always formed inverted while a virtual image is erect.

2. A real image can be caught on the screen while virtual image is not caught.
