Virtual image:

Real Image

  1. It is formed when the rays of light actually meets at a point after Reflects or Refraction.
  2. It can be observed on the screen.
  3. It is always Inverted . For e.g, Image obtained screen in a cinema hall.
  4. E.g- Image formed by concave mirror and Convex lens.

Virtual Image

  1. It is formed when the rays of light meets at a point but actually they do not meet after reflector or reflection.
  2. It cannot be observe on the screen.
  3. It is always Erected. For e.g, Image of face viewed in focking Glass.
  4. E.g- Image formed by plane Mirror, Convex mirror and concave lens.
